Although our February 5, 2012 Benefit For The HOPE Fund is now filled to capacity ...
For those already in possession of the 2012 vendor application which we have recently, previously emailed to you, we still currently accept "alternate" home business company AND artisan/crafter vendor applications, in the order in which we receive them by U.S. mail
In the event our first received/first paid vendors cannot attend on 2/11/12
A $5 NON-REFUNDABLE "Alternate Vendor List Request" Fee
IS NOW REQUIRED to be on this list.
If the first received/first paid vendor DOES attend, then the alternate vendor's $5 alternate vendor fee (made payable to: The Penns Valley HOPE Fund) will NOT be returned.
This money will go directly to The HOPE Fund as a donation from that individual.
All first received/first paid vendors who sign a contract and commit, also know that their vendor fees are non-refundable, regardless of last minute cancellations, due to unforeseen circumstances of any kind, on their part.
This money also goes to The HOPE Fund in the form of a donation from that vendor.
Please note that simply emailing us with your intention of wanting to participate in our upcoming fundraisers does not guarantee you a vendor table space at each of our benefit events held throughout the year.

Interested vendors must complete, sign, and return by U.S. mail, our vendor application, which is always posted on Facebook and on our website, as well as emailed to every member on our Nittany Shop With Heart mailing list, in advance of each benefit fundraiser that we hold throughout the year.

The Following Information Is For Our Current Approved Vendors
Participating With Us On Saturday, February 11, 2012
(Vendors Who Returned Their Completed & Signed Applications In Time To Participate With Us)
Your vendor fee is a non-refundable $35.00 per table space assigned.
A table space is defined as approximately the length of an 8' to 10' long table. Please remember that your $35 vendor fee is non-refundable, as the proceeds support The Penns Valley HOPE Fund for families and individuals in financial crisis, this winter, and throughout the year.
Vendor Applications Are Accepted on a First Received/First Approved
AND First Paid/First Secured Fairness Basis

Please note that unless otherwise arranged through Old Gregg School, OGS tables are reserved for OGS Farmers Market Food Sellers and our Primary Food Vendor ONLY for 2/11/12.
YOU MUST BRING YOUR OWN VENDOR DISPLAY TABLE(S) on 2/11/12.
We will provide at least 2 chairs for each vendor.
Vendor Set Up will take place the morning of February 11, from 8:15 AM - 10:00 AM.
Directions to Old Gregg School and further information on vendor parking and the various entrances to the building will be provided by email in advance of 2/11/12. There are five different access doors for ease of entrance.
Delicious foods, beverages and other refreshments will be available for purchase throughout the day by our Primary Food Vendor, The Sustainable Kitchen, as well as food products sold by our other participating food vendors, including Greg and Mary William's, Cooke Taven Soups, and Mona Joseph's Sweet Delights (freshly homemade chocolate candies).
Several other specialty chocolates and sweets vendors will also be there on 2/11/12 ...
afterall, it IS a Valentine theme!
Nittany Shop With Heart assigns the available table spaces in advance.
According to our fairness policy, you must have listed on your written application mailed to us whether you have special needs, such as proximity to an electrical outlet or other special concerns. We will accommodate individual vendor concerns to the best of our ability (and as space limitations and building safety codes allow), and in the order we receive them.
HOWEVER, PLEASE NOTE: There are only a very limited number of electrical outlets available inside the Old Gregg School Gym. Requests To Be Located Near An Electrical Outlet Will Follow Our Fairness Policy. You must have indicated your need for use of an electical outlet on your signed and mailed application. We will honor those needs in the order in which applications were received. First responders will receive priority.
All vendor spaces will be assigned in advance of the event,
and you will be told your location on 2/11/12.
Your business will be highlighted over the PA system by our MC, and volunteers will help to guide and direct shoppers to your vendor tables. This event will be well publicized and receive local media coverage. Live music performances on stage will add to the festive atmosphere.
Record crowds have attended our previous Valentine Benefit Events held in February 2011, February 2010, and February 2009 (as well as a Christmas Benefit held in December 2009), all in support of The Penns Valley HOPE Fund.

SHOPPER "GOODY BAGS" WILL BE AWARDED
TO THE FIRST 25 SHOPPERS WITH VENDOR PURCHASE RECEIPTS
THAT TOTAL $50 OR MORE IN SALES ...
We do ask that each vendor consider donating at least one ($5 - $10) item to our SHOPPER GOODY BAG Incentive for 2/12/11 ...
And/Or (optionally) to provide us with 25 business cards, samples, brochures, discount coupons (or other items of your choice) to help promote your individual business.
This is optional, but most vendors do participate.
Our vendors are also encouraged to participate in the incentive ~ as fellow shoppers!

DO NOT SEND THEIR FEE
WITH THEIR APPLICATION THIS YEAR
We currently have MANY, MANY (for each company) Tastefully Simple, Pampered Chef, Scentsy, Celebrating Home, Thirty One Gifts, Miche Bag, Bella Taylor, Jordan Essentials, Silpada, lia sophia, Avon, Mary Kay, Longaberger, Tupperware, Mia Bella (and MANY) other home business vendors ALL interested in participating in our events, particularly our annual February fundraiser ...
Please note that ALL home business company vendors are requested to send us their completed AND signed applications FIRST, and SHOULD NOT send their vendor fee, unless/until they are contacted and requested to do so.
We will contact the FIRST home business company vendor who has mailed us their completed & signed 2012 vendor application by U.S. mail (and who is otherwise approved) to request their $35 non-refundable vendor space fee.
If your vendor fee is not received by one week after the contact request is made, the second vendor on our home business list for that company will be chosen.
We will continue to honor this practice in the future, as per our revised fairness policy.

There are only a limited amount of vendor spaces available, and we currently have well over 200 vendors who have expressed interest in participating in our benefit events.
Out of fairness to the MANY, MANY vendors who have expressed interest in attending our

We only confirm and secure spaces for those vendors who immediately completed the APPLICATION SENT TO THEM, signed it, and mailed it by U.S. mail (as per our fairness policy requirement), along with their vendor fee, to Cathy Walton, at the address given on their application.
To secure a spot, artisans, handcrafter and homemade/home produced vendors included their non-refundable $35 required table fee(s), made payable to: The Hope Fund Of Penns Valley.

Home Business Company Vendors Are Contacted In The Order In Which Their Signed Applications Are Received. They Have One Week To Submit Their Vendor Fee(s) After Initial Contact. If not received in one week, the next home business company applicant is contacted.
